We recognise that carers’ lives, in particular, have been affected due to restrictions on health & social care services, respite, loneliness and isolation.
Isolation, loneliness and other issues have already been identified as areas of concerns as a result of the pandemic. By increasing our telephone and on-line support we aim to improve carers’ well-being during this crisis.
Family Mental Health workers will help combat these issues by being at the end of the phone to give advice and information, or just to have a chat with the carer to see how they are coping and how we can help.
