Swansea Carers Centre has now moved to Bethesda Chapel, Prince of Wales Road, Swansea. SA1 2EX. Take a look at the facilities the new Centre has to offer:

  1. Reception
    After entering through the foyer, visitors will find the Reception. This is the main point of contact for inquiries and visitor assistance. Reception staff will guide guests on where to go for appointments or meetings and answer any questions.
  1. Hwb Co-ordinator Office
    The Hwb Co-ordinator’s Office – responsible for coordinating the Carers Hwb. Visitors needing information or assistance related to Hwb services can contact Georgia.
  2. CEO Office
    This is the office of our CEO, Ifor Glyn
  3. Carers’ Hwb
    The Carers’ Hwb this dedicated office is where staff and external agencies will carry out initial assessments with carers to identify their concerns and needs and refer to other projects for support.

Visitor and Staff Amenities

  1. Male and Female WC
    Well-marked and easy to access, the Male and Female Toilets are available for all visitors and staff. Signage will guide visitors to the correct locations. (Future development – disabled toilets will be available on this floor)
  2. Lift
    The Lift provides access to other floor in the building, offering an alternative to stairs for those with mobility needs. It is located centrally for easy access.

Carer Support and Well-being Areas

  1. Carers’ Cwtsh
    The Carers’ Cwtsh is the heart of the Carers’ Centre. It’s a community space for carers to gather, access resources, and participate in group activities. Visitors who are carers will find this to be one of their main points of interaction.
  2. Well-being Room
    The Well-being Room is a dedicated space for relaxation, wellness activities, or one-on-one sessions. Visitors or carers seeking a moment of calm, or well-being support will be directed here.

Staff and Visitor Refreshments

  1. Kitchen
    The Kitchen is available for staff and visitors who may need to prepare or enjoy light refreshments. It is fully equipped and centrally located for ease of use.

Ground Floor

Arrival and Navigation

  1. Lift or Stairs to First Floor Visitors arriving on the first floor will have two main options: using the Lift for easy access or the Stairs if they prefer. Both are clearly marked, and signage will guide them as they reach the first floor.

Staff Areas and Offices

  1. Project Staff Room
    The Project Staff Room is where project-related teams work collaboratively. Visitors coming for project-specific meetings or inquiries will be directed here.
  2. Senior Management Room
    The Senior Management Room houses the leadership team.

Meeting and Support Rooms

  1. Board/Training Room
    The Board/Training Room is a versatile space designed for larger meetings, training sessions, or workshops. Visitors attending a training session, seminar, or board meeting will be guided here. It is equipped with necessary audio-visual tools and set up for group interactions.
  2. Counselling Room
    The Counselling Room offers a private, quiet space for one-on-one discussions or support sessions. Visitors who need counselling will be directed to this room for their appointments.
  3. Quiet Room
    For those who require a space to reflect or have a quiet moment, the Quiet Room is available. It’s an ideal spot for visitors needing some peace and privacy during their time in the building.

  2. Disabled WC
    The Disabled WC is fully accessible and equipped for visitors with mobility issues. This room is situated near the lift for ease of access.
